Code Week Activity and the Collaborative Painting

Code Week: The three painters lost pieces of their paintings! Children using Beebot map find one of the painter's pieces they chose. Art Mission: Each school finds ONLY ONE PIECE and connects it with a line to the painter it belongs to.

Goal: To create a new collaborative painting with these pieces!

Our first students' Meeting - October 2023

 Our first students' meeting took place in mid October 2023. Our students met, greeted each other and played lots of games (Freeze game, Colorilo etc.).

We had so much fun!!

The first issue of our magazine is a fact!

It came off the press just this week.

Presentation of the project

Art missions#skillslabs

 

A project where ART will become a GAME  and will introduce children, in an energetic, playful, experiential and attractive way, to the world of knowledge. The program will start in September and will end in June during which 4 thematic units of the skills workshops will be worked on. Our intention is to create a highly collaborative and interactive project with frequent meetings where our students will learn by playing.

 

 Students will meet great painters and their works, decode their hidden messages, complete missions and gain knowledge and skills by playing and interacting with other members of their group. By utilizing technology, they will be actively involved in the learning process, researching, discovering and creating joint projects with their new online friends. The processing of the paintings will be done by making use of the thinking routines, in the context of Artful thinking , aiming at stimulating the mental functioning and thinking of the children, skills necessary for the 21st century.

Teachers

Every month 2 teachers from different countries  who will be selected by playing a digital wheel will cooperate and  undertake the organization of activities, the organization of the online meeting - the games - the missions and also create the first issue of the magazine with the collaborative activities of the month.
